Sometimes i try to forget that byu is in my backyard, but that means i forget that there are some really cool things about having it so close. my brother, sean, was visiting this week and insisted that we find the stuffed liger somewhere at byu... so off to the bean museum we went. ocean wanted to pet all of the zebras and lions because he recognized them from his books. he was very interested in all the birds and beatles as well. at 9 1/2 months it is difficult to tell whether or not it was that stimulating for him, but i'm sure his fascination will increase if we keep exposing him to great things like that (hey it sure beats all the shopping that i try to pass off as stimulating.) check it out here: bean museum
we also went to the Springville Museum of Art to check out the exhibits. ocean wasn't exactly trying to pet the art or anything, but i could tell it was a nice atmosphere for him. also we found out that the upcoming "family night" (which is the first monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.) this monday will have an artist who will play the japanese koto and lead the group in origami demonstrations for the kids. check it out: springville museum of art

Hogle Zoo
Hogle Zoo-
We went to Hogle Zoo last Saturday Mar 22 it was fun. We being Kynan (husband) Margot, myself, and the Andersons. (Sarah (bff), Greg (bff's husband), Ella (1y 10 m (Margot's bff)) We all had a really good time. I don't know if we would have had a good time if we hadn't brought the Andersons. Cost $8 per adult. The girls were free. It was cold that weekend. So I recommend if you go in the next month or 2 you bundle the little ones and bring a jacket for yourself.
More programs I am going to check out-
Kindermusik (http://www.km-ajoyfulnoise.com/index.php?s=content&p=index).
Swimming Lessons https://secure.orem.org/fc4/ --Orem
Swimming Lessons are also held at Veterans Pool in Provo

Pediatricians
Here is a link to our pediatrician. If anyone is looking for one, I have had good service and the staff is knowledgeable. They also have after hours and you can call and cry to the nurse if you need to. Also you can pay bills online and check symptoms online. So helpful. Especially for crazy people like me. http://uvpeds.nethosting.com/index.php
